Overview

What does it mean to be a homeschooling parent who actively engages in a dynamic role-playing experience with their children, allowing them to stand firm like a tree in difficult times and embrace the numerous possibilities for development and knowledge with purpose and enthusiasm?

What does it mean to adopt an experimental approach to homeschooling that minimizes distractions and strongly encourages self-expression and creative learning? How do we create distinctive ways of presenting established and new concepts that allow for different and imaginative interpretations? What does transmitting information flexibly and creatively mean, with resources added and updated to enable continuous improvisation and reactivity to new yet transformative elements?

I homeschooled my child until he received acceptance to MIT at 15. We achieved this through dynamic approaches, surmounting challenges, consistently adjusting to new academic and extracurricular advancements, and embracing innovative methods. Each of us is an active participant in the continual performance of life, always attempting to define ourselves via our daily actions, emotions, and conversations. We improve our dialogical and co-creative performance engagements by increasing bodily awareness, exchanging aural information, using gestures, and blending answers. This leads to an ongoing activity characterized by harmony and occasional discordance, resulting in an immensely stimulating experience.

We aim to assist you in effectively managing your child's comprehensive academic development. In addition to academics, we provide recommendations for teams, programs, contests, resources, and activities to facilitate personal growth, foster community engagement, and emphasize wellness.

Our curriculum caters to parents who are homeschooling their children, as well as highly motivated high school students who want to either continue homeschooling or enhance their schoolwork by enrolling in our program to better prepare for college.
Proficiency in English is a crucial requirement for both students and parents. Whether you are a native speaker or have fluency comparable to that of a native speaker, a high level of English proficiency is necessary to fully engage with our curriculum and participate effectively in our program.

Software requirements include: word processing software, such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs (available for free), Apple Pages, Apache OpenOffice (also available for free), and others.
Software for conducting online meetings using the Zoom platform. A webcam is a digital camera that transmits video over the internet.
Choice between speakers or headphones
Choice between an external or internal microphone
High-speed Internet connection Online connectivity.

Our program has a double objective: it aims to provide students with an initial exposure to demanding academic experiences by immersing them in a comprehensive curriculum while equipping them with the necessary skills to achieve academic excellence beyond classroom mechanics. Regarding parent educators, developing comprehension and establishing a partnership with our child's inherent interests and abilities is crucial. So, there is no one-size-fits-all curriculum. We tailor the curriculum to match the student's aptitudes and provide them with the necessary resources and skills for success. With our program, you can empathize with and support your students. Foster a feeling of mutual respect and competence. Explore new settings, forms, and perspectives within familiar ones, and together, identify and enable improvements in everyday circumstances.

Instructor Detail

Ivaana Rungta is a music researcher, lyrical storyteller, and sound artist in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She is the Founder and Director of CCL. She obtained a degree in English Literature, Theatre, and Music. She had been instructing secondary and tertiary level pupils for 12 years until she decided to concentrate exclusively on educating her son at home. Following her son's acceptance into MIT at age 15, she rediscovered her enthusiasm for writing on many topics that fascinated her, such as dreams, feelings, memories, challenges, disorder and organization, art, and culture. She explored new worlds of experience beyond the ordinary by incorporating genuine discoveries and scientific research.

The completion of her project, titled "A Square and a Half-The Colors are Sounding," took her a span of 5 years. This project serves as a tribute to scientific research and aims to establish a sense of place and an open process. It also seeks to provide a fresh perspective on the concealed aspects of creation by exploring architectural spaces, the interplay between art and mathematical concepts, and the systematic examination and integration of poetic and aesthetic intuition.
