My journey in Cambridge Creation Lab started with a class on The Sound of Silence. During this course, Ivaana Rungta introduced us to interdisciplinary writing. We focused a lot on learning how to draw connections between ideas that seem contradictory at first glance.

This skill enriched my creativity and writing and helped me come up with a topic for my Ph.D. thesis. The next course I enrolled in was Syllables, Fears, Crіes, and Beyond. This course helped me find a way to express my emotions healthily and metaphorically. Studying creative ways of
wording my feelings in the dark times of my life was life-saving.

Among the many powerful ways, I would underline design. This way, one not only expresses one's emotions but brings them out and objectifies them. Such an abstraction from feelings helps to think more clearly.

The last course I studied in the Cambridge Creation Lab was dedicated to Grammar Mechanics. It helped me become a better writer because I learned more about applying grammar rules and using figures of speech.

Moreover, I got to practice creating metaphors under the effective supervision of Ivaana Rungta. It was hard to master writing metaphorically, but in the end, it made my writing sound more universally understandable.

Throughout my 10-month tenure at the Cambridge Creation Lab, I acquired a substantial amount of information and honed my ability to use many cognitive frameworks to articulate my thoughts effectively in written form. I started my journey with the "Artist in the Lab" course that our instructor, Ivaana, taught. She presented us with well-crafted instructions to assist us in translating our visual artwork into written form. This method enhanced my ability to articulate myself more effectively in English.

The "Sound of Silence" course was far more rigorous, as it included instruction on the process of converting thoughts into written form via the use of drawings, collages, mind maps, and links. Throughout this course, we shared our recollections of the battles that occurred in the recent past.
Additionally, Ivaana imparted to us many strategies and methods to enhance the appeal and allure of our writing, thus capturing and enchanting our readers.

Upon finishing "The Sound of Silence"  I registered for the "Syllables, Fears, Cries, and Beyond Voices from Ukraine"; course. In this session, we further explored the depiction of memories, acquired interdisciplinary skills, and enhanced our grammatical proficiency in writing.
An outstanding feature of Ivaana's lessons was her ability to discover something unique for each individual. She accommodated our hobbies and capitalized on our skills. Science was my preferred subject, but Sasha's interests were in philosophy and gender studies. I attentively listened to the objectives and interests of others in order to acquire fresh knowledge.

Ivaana imbued us with the belief that all concepts are valid and captivating, and there are no principles that must be disregarded while generating ideas. Grammatical errors are the exclusive faults in creative writing. The "Grammar and Mechanics" class was introduced at this point. J.B.Priestley's literary work "On Travel by Train" served as the starting point of my reading journey. The first task was to rephrase it. Initially, I had some difficulty choosing appropriate vocabulary to express my thoughts and rephrasing phrases while still ensuring correct grammatical structure.
Nevertheless, as Ivaana said, consistent practice leads to mastery. Upon revisiting my first project after a span of six months, I was astounded by the significant progress I had made. Ivaana's statement was accurate.

The lesson focused on more than grammar. In addition, we engaged in extensive reading, profound contemplation, and creative endeavors. Ivaana instructed us on acquiring regulations and, more significantly, how to use them. She equipped us with resources to deeply engage our
cognitive processes and transcend the perceived limitations inside our minds.

The Cambridge Creation Lab has provided me with an extraordinary experience during which I
have acquired vital skills that will benefit me for the rest of my life.

“The best investment for your child if you want them to speak and understand English, not just learn words and rules. A unique course of grammar through the looking glass of science, art, and creativity that opens the minds and hearts of little whyers.” We have all of that in your courses. Thank you Ivaana.
